Beyond the technology itself, the AIDurian project delivered **capacity building** as one of its core outputs: training project staff and involving students across the research cycle.

Research assistants, students, and technical staff supported key activities including:

  • Field data collection and fruit tagging
  • Image and audio labeling
  • Model development and testing
  • System integration and documentation

This student involvement is part of the project's lasting contribution to the region — building a new generation of researchers and developers skilled in agricultural AI.
